Now that DOESN'T mean it's hard.

When you write an article and submit it to an online Article Directory it appears on their site. This benefits you in 2 ways.

1) You have an article online that prospects for your product or service can find and then be directed to your site.

2) That article provides what's called a backlink to your site which helps raise your whole site in the Search Engines getting you more traffic that way as well.

That's Article Marketing described in it's simplicity and it can be very powerful.

But as I said, the problem is almost NO ONE DOES IT RIGHT!

You see, most people - I'd say over 99% of online marketers I meet (including many of the gurus) - have the whole Article Marketing strategy wrong!

It goes something like this...

They create 1 article (usually every day or two) and then push it out to thousands or tens of thousands of article directory sites.

Wrong, wrong, WRONG!

I've heard many top gurus recommend this exact method to their students and it's no wonder they aren't getting results worth telling anyone about, letalone making any real income... it's just doesn't work very well... for several reasons!

Let me explain why.

For starters... it can be RISKY.

You've probably heard of "duplicate content" before but do you really know what it means... and exactly how it applies to your business and making money (or failing to make money) online?

From the many people I talk to at live seminars I teach, chances are you're either confused about what it means or thought you understood it when you didn't.

Duplicate content is an issue that gets talked about a lot. So to ensure you are clear and don't get sidetracked by poor information, let me clarify the issue.

The big search engines have no problem with a single article being posted to numerous article directories. This is not duplicating. For instance if you are running a travel holiday company, you may place identical ads all over the net. That just makes sense right? So no penalties there.

However, if in the aim of driving up your links you place lots of the same (identical) article on your own site, even on hidden pages, or try to post the same article to the same (or closely associated) directories with little or almost no changes, you will be penalized for breach of the duplication rules.

So, while posting your one article around all over the place (which I should mention takes a very long time to do) can be a perfectly okay thing to do, it can also be risky if you're not very careful about how you do it.

In addition...

The Search Engines want to provide highly-relevant results to their users. So they want LOTS of relevant content.

Therefore, the more you provide them, the more you'll get rewarded.

They don't like having the same content showing up multiple times in their results and so they can tend to lower the rank of content which is identical to content they already show in their results pages.

That means, if you submit your article to a directory, then another, then another, there is multiple versions of your same article showing up online and while you may get some value for these, it's very unlikely that more than one of those will show up in high ranking position, if any at all.

So the Search Engines, by only showing one copy of your article high in their results pages... are effectively making most of your effort in writing and promoting that article wasted. (Yes, you do get some value but it's not anywhere what you need to start getting huge traffic and profits!)

And so that brings me to the main point about this strategy that most people are using.

It's VERY SLOW... because you're only writing one article at a time... and you can only get a very limited amount of value out of that one article!

And so that's exactly why that strategy is - at least compared to what I'm about to show you - completely worthless.

I can tell you right now that...

If you're using articles for traffic generation (which you absolutely should be) ...

...but are doing it with the "1 ARTICLE" Strategy...

...you're almost completely missing out on all the value or worse, wasting your time altogether!

But that's just the start, it actually gets even worse!

You've probably come across sites and services that promise to get articles out to "tens of thousands of sites" for you automatically... giving you big traffic boosts and search engine rankings as a result.

What a joke!

Many people I meet have either used or been told to use these services to help get their articles distributed far and wide - apparently providing you all the benefits Article Marketing can offer.

But again, most people don't know the truth about these either... and therefore don't get anywhere near the success they should.

Here's the problems you face… A lot of paid services are SCAMS - they literally don't do what they say in terms of sending out your article to many places at all and so many are a straight-up complete waste of money Out of the thousands of Article Directories online, only a select group actually provide any real value for the purpose of getting traffic through Article Marketing.

You see, there are thousands upon thousands of Article Directories.

But only a very small amount of these are recognized by the Search Engines as being valuable and worth paying attention to.

Most of these article directories are legitimate and do exist... but they're either on page 10 or even 1000 of Google.

They get no ranking themselves from Google or other SEs because they aren't considered valuable.

As I mentioned earlier, the main benefit of Article Marketing is only realized if your articles get high rankings, so that lots of people see them and then go to your site.

And how do these articles get those rankings and valuable backlinks? 

From the Directory that lists them!

Now let me ask you a question... 

If you submit your article to an Article Directory that Google considers to be worthless... how much value do you think Google is going to place on your article located there?

That's right, gold star for you. NONE!

And that's why the vast majority of article directories (over 99%) are utterly worthless... a complete waste of time!

So as you can see there's two main issues to overcome for successful Article Marketing and getting incredible volumes of traffic from it...

	Having enough unique articles so you can make every single submission you make to a directory a new article.
	Knowing exactly which directories are worth using and only submitting your article to those for quality rankings, backlinks and traffic!

Think about it.

How are you supposed to get the maximum amount of traffic from your 1 article submitted to tens of thousands of directories if...

• The search engines consider the majority of those articles to be the same thing and so pay them less attention?

• Most of those directories your article appears on are viewed so lowly by the Search Engines that the article never appears in the SE ranking pages (or so far down no one could ever find them)... never getting you any traffic or ranking?

It's just common sense, right?

Ok, so enough now about how everyone is doing it wrong. You understand that now and really just want to know how to get amazing results, so let's get to it.
